I met Lizzy and her girls last week through one of my chicken...an Australorp named Tilly who likes to escape over my fence and into the home of Lizzy's parents. This is Lizzy's childhood home. A home of sprawling verandahs, garden's bursting with vegetables and fruit trees, vines spilling over fences and large warm rooms filled with memories. Her girls, Emmy and Ruby, enjoy roaming the gardens she once did, discovering all of the wonder to be found in the dirt, in eating the young leaves of the rosella flowers, in picking ripe limes and in a visiting chicken from next door.
